Hello You!

I'm 16 years old girl from Finland. I love all kinds of old Hollywood films and actors. My biggest idol is Audrey Hepburn. She is like a goddess to me!

I also like things like Friends, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Orlando Bloom, Beyoncé and all kinds of cute and totally random stuff..! (:

UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Audrey Hepburn sits amidst severely malnourished children at a UNICEF-assisted feeding centre in the town of Baidoa, Somalia.
Ms. Hepburn completed a four day tour of Somalia and northern Kenya on 24 September, 1992 - visiting UNICEF-assisted feeding centres and primary health care facilities in Mogadiscio, Kismayo, and Baidoa - to bring world attention to the plight of children and women there.

Currently, there are over 1 million children in Central and West Africa facing a nutrition crisis similar to what Ms. Hepburn witnessed in 1992. To learn more and to see how you can get involved, please visit: http://www.unicef.org

Leo Fuchs manages to capture Audrey Hepburn looking unaffected by the 130-degree heat of the Belgian Congo.  Unlike some of her co-stars who suffered heatstrokes, Audrey credited her nun’s habit with protecting her from the heat during filming. She did, however succumb to a terrible case of kidney stones upon returning to Rome to finish the arduous 132-day shoot.  Once fully recovered, Audrey finished The Nun’s Story and was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her performance as Sister Luke. Photographed in 1958.
